Mildred Caroline Gibbs, a longtime resident of Soledad, Calif., died Thursday, the 4th of April at the age of 97.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Charles Duncan.

On January 11th 2018 Wesley Austin Johnson passed away with his family at his side in Phoenix Arizona. Wes was born January 4th, 1982 in Salinas California.

Arthur Banuelos, 87, peacefully passed away on May 22, 2019 and rejoined his beloved wife Vikki.

Alfred H. Bassetti passed away on May 21, 2018 at 89 years old. Al was born and raised in Soledad.

Manuel “Huero” Olivas age 65 of Soledad passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. His family and friends surrounded him as he passed peacefully.

Frank J. Vanoli, 82, of Soledad, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Eden Valley Care Center in Soledad.

Joanne took her last breath on Sept. 20, 2018, at the age of 75 in the loving arms of her husband and into the arms of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Pete DeVries “The Auctioneer” peacefully entered into God’s promised Heaven from Salinas, Ca., on February 7, 2019.

Leslie Plaskett Merrill passed away on August 3, 2017, in the loving embrace of her family. She was born in King City, CA and later moved to the Monterey Peninsula. Leslie loved her life overlooking the bay with the love of her life, her husband Scott. She enjoyed taking big ocean walks and watching the seals and otters play outside their window. Leslie loved watching Scott teach martial arts at Monterey Sports Center and was so happy to be Mrs. Sensei. She and Scott enjoyed their vacations in Lake Tahoe, where they had spent their honeymoon, and returned every year. A talented stylist, Leslie took wonderful care of her clients and valued their friendship greatly. She adored her children and grandchildren and cherished time spent with family.
