A 19-4 third quarter run by Soledad High changed the momentum of a close game against King City and earned the visiting Aztecs a 59-42 victory.

A second half implosion by the Soledad Aztecs football team cost them in a 28-27 loss to the visiting North Salinas High Vikings. Soledad led by a 20-0 score but were outscored 28-7 in the second half to fall to 0-2 in Mission Divisional play of the Pacific Coast Athletic League and 0-6 overall.
