King City scored 17 points to easily defeat second place San Benito with 66 points. Soledad High placed fifth in the division.

In the final tune-up before the start of non-league play, South County high school football teams took the field last Friday at the South County Jamboree, hosted by Soledad High School at the Gene Martin Stadium.
Three teams representing the Soledad Warrior Youth Football Cheer squads competed at the Jamz Cheer and Dance National Competition in Las Vegas on Jan. 19-22. Soledad placed second in the Midget Division and second in the Jr. Peewee Division. The Peewee cheer squad competed but did not place in the top three.
Mission Trail Athletic League baseball champion Soledad High earned the top individual awards for the league with the Most Valuable Player in Isaac Lopez and the Pitcher of the Year with Andru Holguin.
