Man kidnapped in Soledad home invasion
On Oct. 22, at about 8:30 a.m., a home invasion and kidnapping occurred in the 1700 block of Marin Place in Soledad. Two or more suspects forced entry into a home, struggled with the 26-year-old male victim and then forcibly took him from the home.
Soledad man dies in crash while attempting to evade police
SALINAS VALLEY — A 20-year-old Soledad man died last Friday after his vehicle overturned on Los Coches Road near Greenfield while attempting to evade police during a pursuit.
