Monterey County Agricultural and Rural Life Museum (MCARLM) is featuring a new exhibit called “South County Roots” that opened this summer, created by the second cycle of high school interns, focusing on the lost towns of Monterey County.

A new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 233,000 visitors to Pinnacles National Park in 2017 spent $13.3 million in communities near the park, including the cities of South County.
