Police nab Salinas murder suspect in Soledad
A teenager was arrested last Wednesday at a relative’s home in Soledad for the murder of 43-year-old Jess Gonzales, who was shot and killed March 23 near North Main and Massa streets in Salinas.
Police locate escaped inmate
California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials are looking for a state prison inmate who walked away from the minimum-support facility at Salinas Valley State Prison on Sunday.
