SOLEDAD — Soledad Police Department’s newest officer, William Yetter, was sworn in at a ceremony last week. Yetter, originally from Watsonville, worked as a Police Explorer for Capitola Police Department for three years before becoming the program’s adviser. He attended Evergreen Valley College (SouthBay Regional) Police Academy as a non-affiliate and was later hired by the Salinas Police Department, where he worked for four years. He and his wife Breanne have two children, Ashlyn and Lyam.
