Martha “Lanini” “Rolandi” Vieira

Martha “Lanini” “Rolandi” Vieira 90 of Greenfield passed away Sat. March 25, 2017 at Eden Valley Care Center in Soledad.

Martha was born in King City to Ben & Emilia Lanini on November 22, 1926.

She attended Soledad Mission Elementary School and Gonzales High School. She was a lookout person for planes during WWII. In 1946 she married Harold Rolandi they lived in Greenfield. They had three sons and one daughter. Harold passed away in 1966. Then she married Tony Vieira in 1970 until his passing in 1991. She was a homemaker & devoted mother she enjoyed gardening, cooking, (Famous for her Chocolate Chip Cookies), her cats and spending time with her family and friends.She was a member of The Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Rolandi, Tony Vieira, her parents, Ben and Emilia Lanini, stepfather, Martin Belami, two sisters, Ausilia Ray Tarp, Alma Borchert and son, Larry Rolandi.

She is survived by her sons, Tom Rolandi of Greenfield, David (Gloria) Rolandi of Hartville, MO., daughter, Jeanette (George) Nitzschke of Greenfield,(daughter-in-law Vicki Rolandi)of Jamestown Ca. six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren ,four great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Martha’s caregivers and staff at Eden Valley Care Center in Soledad for the past eight years.

Visitation will be held 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. Wed. April 5, 2017 at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, CA. 93901. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00a.m.Wed. April 5, 2017 at Struve and Laporte Chapel. Burial to follow at Soledad District Cemetery, 1711 Metz Rd, Soledad, CA 93960.
