Oak Shores Realty owner No. 1 in county residential sales for 2016

SUBMITTED ARTICLE

BRADLEY — Monterey County’s robust 2016 home sales were led by Grace Borzini, broker-owner of Oak Shores Realty, with 97 residential units sold, representing a dollar volume of $31,221,900. Her average home sale price was $321,875.

Borzini’s 2016 sales achievement eclipses her strong performance of 2015, when she sold 99 residential units and was No. 2 in Monterey County sales production.

As a real estate industry sales leader with over 18 years of experience, Borzini credits her success to a simple principal: client focus.

“The Monterey County real estate market moves quickly,” Borzini explains. “Rapid response to the client is essential. Having the support of an expert team, along with operational efficiencies, enables me to provide a high level of service.”

The five-star client reviews Borzini has on Zillow and Yelp support that statement. In addition to stellar service, Borzini and the team at Oak Shores Realty deliver outstanding sales performance that consistently place them among the area’s top producers.

When asked about her marketing strategies, Borzini offered this advice to Monterey County home sellers: “Prepare your home for the market; home condition still counts. And while the market is currently in your favor, don’t be tempted to price your home too high. It’s better to price your home competitively and draw maximum buyer attention. This can lead to aggressive, multiple-offer scenarios that result in a handsome sales price.”

Borzini also has some words of advice for Monterey County home buyers: “Prepare your financing first; know what you can afford, and plan your home search accordingly. Be ready to take immediate action when you find a home you like, and make a compelling offer. Knowing your priorities will help you make confident decisions.”

Borzini has been serving tri-county residents with professional real estate services since 1999. As a longtime resident of Monterey County, she believes in giving back to the local communities. She sits on the Salinas Valley Fair Heritage Board, and is the chair of the Hospitality Room during the fair. She is also a founding board member of the Southern Monterey County Foundation, which is an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Monterey County.
