SOLEDAD — The Soledad Christmas Parade Committee is working on the final details for the upcoming Christmas Parade and festivities on Dec. 2.
Festivities begin at 2 p.m. at Liberty Chapel with the Snow Queen and King evening gown review. Then, Front Street will be the event destination with music, food, games, bounce houses and a giant slide. Following that will be the parade at 5 p.m. Staging is at California Gourmet Pizza and will run from Front Street down to Kidder Street.
After the parade makes its run down Front Street, the staging area will make way for the crowning of the Snow Queen, Snow King and their court. The day events will run until about 8 p.m.
“We hope that people will come and enjoy pre-holiday festivities,” said Pauline Tomasini, Parade Committee member. “Entertainment will run from 2 to 5 p.m. and another hour after the parade.”
Deadline for parade entries is today, Nov. 29, at 5 p.m. at the Soledad Mission Chamber of Commerce Office, 641 Front St.
