SOLEDAD — The South County YMCA is accepting unwrapped toys for “Share Your Holiday” at the Soledad location at 560 Walker Drive.
“Share Your Holiday” is hosted by KSBW Action News 8 and benefits the Salvation Army. All donations go straight to the Salvation Army and stay in the local area.
“We are going to collect toys up to just before Dec. 8,” said Executive Director Joe Gonzales. “There’s not a set age for the unwrapped toys. It’s just the thought that counts.”
“Share Your Holiday” takes new toys, non-perishable food or monetary donations and helps out those who have less. This is the first time the South County YMCA has participated in the event.
South County YMCA is also doing a special promotion for those who bring toys to donate for the event. There will be a special amount off of the “Joiner Fee” for those interested.
