SOLEDAD — Face painting, a CHP helicopter, Soledad Police, restaurants and more arrived at the South County YMCA on Walker Drive to celebrate National Night Out on Aug. 7.
The event aimed to get members of the community to interact with one another and law enforcement. Several vendors spoke to patrons about their businesses and organizations and filled the gymnasium at the Y.
A special CHP helicopter also attended the event and was a draw for the community and the Soledad police officers.
