A district representative and Vanoli are working on an employment agreement, which will be brought to the Board of Education on June 14 for consideration and approval.

“We are very excited to have Mr. Vanoli join us as our educational leader,” said Jodi Massa, president of the Soledad School Board. “He has achieved many successes at the Salinas Union High School District, which impressed the board. We are confident that he will help our district continue to move forward and improve the educational quality for all of our students.”

Vanoli said it is “like going home again.”

“I grew up in Soledad and attended school there. I am excited to return to lead the district to new heights,” he added. “Clearly, all the employees are dedicated to the district, and together we will achieve the goals of the board to make Soledad an example for others to follow.”

On June 14, at the regular school board meeting, members will be asked to approve Vanoli’s employment agreement.
