Passing the torch

SOLEDAD — April Liedtke (above, left) finished out her term as Soledad Rotary Club president on July 1 and passed the torch onto Lorena Gonzales, who took over as president on July 6. Gonzales will lead Rotary meetings and attend president meetings with the other three South County Rotary Clubs. The Soledad Rotary meets every Thursday at the Windmill at 12:10 p.m.
