SOLEDAD — Foundation for Monterey County Free Libraries brought science to the forefront last Friday during the MythBusters Family Event at Soledad High School, where youth and their families could partake in STEM activities as well as meet former TV host and robotics expert Grant Imahara.
Imahara, who is best known for his work on the TV show “MythBusters,” put on live demonstrations for the youngsters inside the school’s multipurpose room.
Staff members from the Greenfield Community Science Workshop also participated in the Oct. 11 event, providing several hands-on science activities.
