SOLEDAD — Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-Carmel), representing the 20th District, recently spoke to four government and leadership classes at Soledad High School.
His hour-long presentation in the student Amphitheater covered the expense of college, his background, immigration issues, the life of a congressman, other topics, and then he answered questions from students.
Panetta was presented with an anti-school violence banner signed by over 750 students representing seven schools in the Soledad Unified School District, which he is taking to Washington, D.C.
