SOLEDAD — Easter eggs, the Easter bunny, spring dresses, dressy shirts and more took center stage this week as the community of Soledad celebrated Easter.
On March 29, Eden Valley Care Center hosted an “Easter Bunny Photo Booth,” where families could come to Rosie’s Garden and take a photo with their siblings and the Easter Bunny himself.
The event was organized by the center’s Activities Department. It is the third year that Eden Valley has offered the photo booth.
The idea came about from the late CEO Steve Pritt.
“He asked me what we could do and I looked around for entertainment and found this really good company in Santa Cruz,” said Angelo Manzano, activities director.
The Lioness Club was in the Easter spirit as well, bringing the community an Easter egg hunt March 31 at Cesar Chavez Park for children ages 2 to 13. Both events were free to the public.
