GRAPE STOMP

SOLEDAD — This year’s Soledad Mission Fiesta saw the return of the annual Grape Stomp featuring eight young ladies from the Mission School District. Ashley Maestri won the grape-stomping challenge. The annual Fiesta included a rib barbecue and wine and silent auctions that raised money to keep the everyday operations of the Mission going. The Oct. 1 event also brought out craft booths and Flora’s Farms, which sold and decorated pumpkins for the event.
