SOLEDAD — The Soledad Lioness Club is currently working on collecting information on the humanitarian and service needs of the City of Soledad by distributing a survey.
“As a service club we thought some outside input from the community could help us better serve our community in general,” said Darlene Bagwell, president. “We are looking for more ways to expand our service to Soledad.”
According to Bagwell, the Soledad Lioness currently donates to the Soledad Historical Society, sponsors the aquarium at Eden Valley and most recently donated to the Soledad High School Cross Country Team, along with other requests for donations from schools and local groups.
“Once we have complied and analyzed the data we receive, we can come up with some sort of service project and or raise money for a particular need,” said Bagwell.
The questionnaire or survey deadline is Nov. 30 and is available through the Soledad Lioness Club.
Completed surveys can be returned to the Soledad Lioness Club, P.O. Box 1230, Soledad, CA 93960.
