SOLEDAD — The Spring Carnival, hosted by the Soledad Education Foundation, has been rescheduled for May 30 to June 2.
The carnival, previously set for March 14 to 17, was canceled by the School Board and Butler Amusement after viewing the area where the carnival rides, booths and vendors would be placed. Due to the recent rainfall, there was not enough sun to dry out the grass area behind Frank Ledesma Elementary.
A notice of cancellation was posted on the Soledad Unified School District website, and the Foundation was able to set a new date for the carnival at the end of May.
