Justice for our son

As I write this letter, I can look up and see the picture I have on my desk of our three children. It is the last picture I took of Ricky. For the past 13 years, any picture I take of my children, only two are in the photos. Even though Ricky is not in the pictures, I know he is in our memories and deep in our hearts that still ache for him.

May 4, 2004, was the worst day of our lives. Even now the heartache can feel so unbearable. I find myself wondering how those murdering scumbags can go on with their lives after they did those horrible things to our son. They are evil monsters who left our son dead, only for us to find him almost a week later. I hope they have nightmares every night, and I hope when they are at the end of their lives, that they suffer like they made our son suffer.

If I happen to sound like I am filled with anger and hatred, I can tell you that I am not. What I feel is sadness at times, and yes, I guess I do feel anger sometimes, but what I really want is justice for our son. I want justice so our lives can be a bit easier and Ricky’s sons can also receive the justice they want for their father. They both grew up knowing their father is proud of them. They know about his life. Those memories keep us sane and keep us going and to never, ever give up in getting justice for Ricky.

There is still a $50,000 reward for information on the monsters. Please help us and call 1-800-782-7463 or 831-674-5111 to remain anonymous. Please help us get justice for our son, Ricky Torres.
